We're back! Great entertainment throughout the day on three stages! You can catch an intimate performance at the Gorge on Art stage, local musicians busking their stuff at Busker's Corner, and other entertainment along the way.

The event has now grown into one of the premier Canada Day celebrations in the Greater Victoria region, drawing thousands of people to this popular and traffic-free family event. We've plotted event locations, food vendors, and amenities in a Google map so you can plan your day or use your smartphone or tablet as a guide.

The programme includes a map event locations, food vendors, facilities, etc. You can also use our online interactive map on your smartphone or tablet. A print-ready version of the poster is also available if you'd like to help promote the event.

Happy faces everywhere well, maybe a few kids tears here and there and a fantastic celebration here on the Gorge Waterway.

Thank-you to all our sponsors and volunteers and to our neighbourhood! The grills are sizzling, the music is playing, and classic cars are shining! Come on down! There will be bicycle valet parking staffed by Capital City Bike. The Victoria Canoe and Kayak club will be bringing a dragon boat and voyageur canoe up the Gorge to the beach at Craigflower-Kosapsom Park.

Do something different! Support the VCKC! You'll find them up near the Admirals end of Gorge Road W. Due to a scheduling conflict they have elsewhere, they will no longer appear on the Main Stage at 11am. The 11am Main Stage timeslot will now feature Rick and Rusty.

This year it expands into the grassy area at "The Bend" at the bottom of Austin Avenue. You can visit over 25 local artists and view their art. This zone also features one of the day's entertainment stages. For , the entertainment line-up at Gorge on Art feature classical and contemporary musicians from the Victoria Conservatory of Music!

It was a success and will be located there again. There will be 4 acts starting at 11am. Bring a blanket, a picnic, and enjoy the music! We look forward to hosting you in our community for a family friendly event on Friday July 1, The Gorge Tillicum Community Assocation is hoping to hold the event, but due to uncertainty at this time, decisions will be delayed until February or March.

Although the weather forecast is predicting cooler temperatures than last weekend, the celebrations are in full swing. And with plenty of new and returning events announced across Greater Victoria, it is sure to be a fun-filled day with plenty of things to choose from. A post shared by Explore Sidney exploresidney. Sidney has announced they will be hosting two days of celebrations, kicking off their weekend early with opening ceremonies, live music and fireworks!

Beginning with a traditional First Nations canoe protocol, then an Official Welcoming Ceremony, followed by a lineup of diverse music and dance performances on the main stage the day promises to be one to remember.

On July 1st, Langford residents will be able to enjoy the first annual Canada Day celebration at Starlight Stadium from 10 a. The free event will feature a pancake breakfast by donation , live music by local musician Vince Vaccaro as the headliner, face painting, a hot wing eating contest, brick yard games on the turf, artist painting demonstration, a blue-ribbon pie baking contest and more.

The multi-generational picnic in the park includes local entertainment, food and drinks, kids face painting, drag story time and more. The event also includes Canadian music, local First Nations cultural education booths, face painting, an activity centre for kids, period costumes, Indigenous drummers and artists, and more.

On Friday and Saturday nights starting July 1st until September 3rd, Butchart Gardens will host 20 musical performances on the concert stage lawn, with performances including everything from kitchen party folk, to Dixieland, boogie woogie music, ska, classical, blues, folk, jazz and more.

The concert series kicks off with Juno award winning duo Big Little Lions on July 1st, followed by other notable acts such as singer-songwriter Stephen Fearing and Curtis Clearksy and the Constellations later in the month. The performances will be included in the price of an admission ticket or month pass, so you can take in all 55 acres of incredible gardens before your show.
